Sifu Matthew F. Chalmers has studied the Martial Arts his entire adult life. Sifu became a certified instructor in the Art of Kenpo under Sifu Carmen Vigilotti at American Dragon Kenpo Karate in 1995. He holds the rank of YODAN (4th degree black belt) in kenpo and has studied and continues to study many other Martial art styles. His many commendations include life saving awards and he holds several certificates including FBI Defensive tactics instructor, HIDTA, IDS and is a Police defensive tactics instructor. Sifu has competed on various levels in the arts and regularly trains under Shihan Gary Gione of Elite Defensive tactics. In the year 2000, Sifu sought out and trained with Master James Ibrao in California. Master Ibrao was Ed Parkers first black belt and his complete history should be researched for any practitioner of the arts. Sifu tested and obtained the rank of Silver Dragon under Master Ibrao after 10 years. Maintaing a family like relationship with Master Ibrao, Sifu is proud to have him a part of his life.
